After the battle with cancer, Genutis Vingras passed away in 12th of June 2006. He was the veteran of circus, professional magician and one of the founders of LIK.

He was born in 1953, he made his first performance in 1968 and since then he dedicated his life to the art of magic.

For many years he was managing circus troupes in Siauliai and Kelme, was a mentor to several circus performers who later became professionals.

In 1983 he organized the first Lithuanian magic convention in Kelme, and in 1985 the second convention was organized.

In 1987 he organized national magic congress in Siauliai. And in 2006 he organized his last magic convention „Caravan of Wonders“.  He was one of the most active members of LIK, he was performing on a busy Schedule and in year 2000 had a tour in Japan.

His last performance was on TV Project „Vaikų balsas“, even sick he was still performing.

He was a great example and will be missed by his friends and colleagues.
